FluidityIQ and Inteum Partner to Bring AI-Powered Patent Intelligence Directly into the Technology Transfer Workflow

FluidityIQ and Inteum sign partnership

Novelty assessments powered by FluidityIQ's semantic engine will now be available on demand inside Inteum's Minuet platform.

WESTWOOD, Mass — July 14, 2026 — FluidityIQ the AI-native patent and design intelligence platform, and Inteum Company, developer of the Minuet intellectual property management platform used by technology transfer offices around the world, today announced a partnership that embeds FluidityIQ's patent intelligence directly into the tech transfer workflow.

Minuet users will now be able to order a FluidityIQ novelty assessment for any invention disclosure without leaving the platform they already use to manage it. Reports are generated on demand and delivered back into the record, giving licensing managers and their research teams an evidence-based view of the prior art landscape to support invention evaluation.

Intelligence at the Point of Decision

Every technology transfer office faces the same triage problem. The pace of disclosures outstrips available search resources and personnel, often forcing a patenting decision based on incomplete information. Formal prior art searches are expensive and slow; informal keyword searches often miss relevant prior art.

FluidityIQ's novelty assessment closes that gap. Built on semantic search across more than 165 million patent records, it evaluates the disclosure as described in plain technical language, and maps its features against the closest prior art. The result is a structured, readable report that supports the patenting decision, informs conversations with inventors and decision makers, and can give outside counsel a running start, reducing costs.

Because assessments are ordered from within Minuet and priced per report with no minimums, offices pay only for the disclosures they evaluate. There are no seat licenses, no annual platform commitment, and no new tool for staff to learn — making the capability accessible to offices of every size, from a two-person TTO to the largest research institutions.

"Tech transfer professionals shouldn't have to leave their system of record to get an answer about novelty," said Jeff Roy, CEO and Co-Founder of FluidityIQ. "Our whole thesis is that patent intelligence should meet people where they already do their work. This partnership puts a genuine prior art assessment one click away from the disclosure itself, simplifying a decision that offices make hundreds of times a year."

Why It Matters for Research Institutions

  • Faster, better-informed triage. Evidence-based novelty signals at intake before patent budget is committed.

  • Stronger inventor conversations. A clearer picture of the prior art helps licensing managers set expectations with faculty and researchers early.

  • Efficient use of outside counsel. Attorneys start from a mapped prior art landscape rather than a blank page.

  • Budget-friendly by design. Pay-as-you-go pricing aligns cost with disclosure volume. No idle licenses.
